(DE) Meine Bio-Kurzfassung
Schön, dass du es bis hierher geschafft hast.
Mein Name ist Alexandra Scherer und ich bin Krimitante und Geschichtenspinnerin. Kurz gesagt: Schriftstellerin. ;)
Zugegeben, spinnen tue ich auch so. ;) Aber immer auf nette und freundlichen Art. Ich glaube, man nennt das auch versponnen. Als Autorin konzentriere ich mich vor allem auf Landhauskrimis und Mysteries, sowie ab und an Kurzgeschichten.

Glad, that you managed to get here. My name is Alexandra Scherer and I am a crime writer and story teller. In short: I am an authoress. ;)
Admittedly sometimes I am also a bit mad. But allways in a nice and friendly way. ;)
As a writer I am writing mostly cozy crimes and mysteries and short stories.
Ich wurde 1962 in Wangen im Allgäu geboren. Dort wuchs ich auch auf. 1985 packte mich das Fernweh, ich heiratete und zog mit meinem polynesischen Ehemann auf seine Heimat Funafuti/Tuvalu.
Dort las ich aus purer Langeweile eine komplette Bücherei aus: Querbeet von Georgette Heyer, Terry Pratchett, Mills and Boone, Jane Austen und Thackeray hin bis zu einer Publikation über Schweinezucht in England um 1942. Das hat dazu geführt, dass ich gut Englisch rede und mein Humor und literarischen Vorlieben sind deshalb auch stark britisch geprägt. Ich liebe Krimis, Kurzgeschichten und Fantasy. Das ist auch das, was ich selber schreibe.
1997 hat mich dann das Heimweh überfraut und ich kam mit meinen zwei Söhnen wieder zurück nach Wangen. Dort hab ich dann die nächsten zwanzig Jahre verbracht.
Inzwischen lebe ich am Rande des Allgäus zusammen mit meinem Bayern, einer Katz und einem Wuff.
Ab und an blogge ich, wenn mir irgendetwas besonders absurd oder seltsam vorkommt und ich meine, ich sollte dazu senfen.
Seit 2016 veröffentliche ich mehr oder weniger regelmässig Kurzgeschichten und Bücher, meist im Selbstverlag.
Born 1962 in Wangen im Allgäu, where I went to school. 1985 I got wanderlust, married and moved to Funafuti/Tuvalu with my polynesian husband.
Out of pure boredom I was reading through a complete library: everything from Georgette Heyer, Terry Prtchett, Mills and Boone, Jane Austen and Thackeray up to a publication about pig raising in England around 1942.
This might explain, why I am speaking quite passable Englisch and why my sense of humour could be called a bit black. I love reading cozy crimes, short stories and fantasy. Which is also more or less, what I am writing.
1997 my homesickness got so bad, that I returned to my home town with my two sons. There I lived the next twenty years.
Now I am living at the corner of the Allgäu. Together with my Bavarian, a cat and a dog.
Now and then I am writing in my blog. Especially when I am seeing something especially absurd or think, I have to add my two pence.
Since 2016 I am publishing short stories and books. Mostly as selfpublisher.
