I am a big fan of Mrs Watts stories. Especially her Beaufort Scales Novels about Dragons and the Toot Hansels Womens Institute are good for hilarious reading. As an ACR reader, I could read the prequel. Here the reader learns about DI Adams time in London. At the same time it is a sort of X-Mas story. I really did enjoy reading it. The story is tense and very well thought out. However a little bit more dark than Mrs Watts usual books. Nevertheless it is a clear reading recommendation.
I could imagine that there is a new series in the offing, not so much featuring Toot Hansel Dragons, but DI Adams.
